Birth and Disability

Nick Vujicic was born in 1982 in Brisbane, Australia, to Serbian immigrant parents. He was born with a rare condition called tetra-amelia syndrome, which means he was born without any limbs. He had no arms or legs, and only a small foot with two toes on his left side.

Growing Up with a Disability

Growing up with such a severe disability was incredibly challenging for Nick. As a child, he struggled to fit in and was often bullied by his peers. He also experienced depression and loneliness, wondering if he would ever be loved or accepted.

Finding Purpose and Faith

Despite the difficulties he faced, Nick found solace and strength in his faith. He believed that God had created him for a specific purpose, and he was determined to find that purpose. In his late teens, Nick began speaking to groups about his experiences and his faith. He discovered that he had a natural talent for inspiring and motivating others.

A Life of Inspiration and Service

Nick's journey has taken him to over 50 countries, where he has delivered more than 3,000 speeches. He has also written several books, including "Life Without Limits: Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life." Nick is the founder and president of "Life Without Limbs," a non-profit organization that provides support and inspiration to people with disabilities.

Personal Life

Nick married Kanae Miyahara in 2012. They have four beautiful children together: Kiyoshi James (2013), Dejan Levi (2015), Olivia and Ellie (2017). Nick and his family live in California.
