After graduating from Caloundra State High School, he went to North Queensland, where he caught crocodiles that posed a real threat to people. Rise to Fame

In 1992, Steve Irwin married Terri Raines, who was also a wildlife researcher. Terri participated in all of his films alongside her husband. Their honeymoon was even documented in the beginning of the film "The Crocodile Hunter," as they were capturing crocodiles together. They had two children together: Bindi Sue Irwin, born in July 1998, and Robert Clarence "Bob" Irwin, born in December 2003.

Steve Irwin tragically passed away on September 4, 2006, near the Great Barrier Reef while working on another wildlife documentary called "Ocean's Deadliest." He was struck in the chest by a stingray's barb, which punctured his heart. Despite efforts to save him, his heart stopped instantly before the team could react. It is worth noting that stingray stings are typically not fatal, but the barb hit his heart. Steve Irwin's death was a shock to the world, and his legacy as a passionate wildlife advocate continues to inspire others to this day.
