Molly Ringwald, an American actress, singer, and dancer, was born on February 18, 1968, in Roseville, California. Her parents, Adele Edith (née Fremd) and Scott Robert Ringwald, had three other children besides Molly. At the age of five, she made her stage debut as a dormouse in "Alice in Wonderland." A year later, she collaborated with her father's band, the Fulton Street Jazz Band, on "I Wanna Be Loved by You."

Television and Film Breakthrough

Throughout the late seventies, Ringwald appeared in numerous commercials. In 1978, at the age of ten, she moved to Los Angeles. Her acting skills were showcased in a 1979 episode of "Diff'rent Strokes." In 1980, she became a vocalist for two Disney albums.
